The OnePlus 13, the company’s next flagship smartphone, was officially released in China today after weeks of rumors and teasers. In addition to being one of the first Android phones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, the most recent model has other features. The phone has a reduced form factor (162.9 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm), but the display size stays the same. By contrast, the measurements of the OnePlus 12 were 164.3 x 75.8 x 9.2 mm. The phone weighs 213 grams less and has a screen-to-body ratio of about 91.2% as a result of this and reduced bezels.
The OnePlus 13’s most notable feature is the newly released Snapdragon 8 Elite. On the base model, this is combined with 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 12GB of RAM. Other OnePlus models with up to 1TB of storage and 24GB of RAM are also available.
The OnePlus 13’s triple camera combination includes a 50MP Sony LYT-808 OIS sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor with a 114-degree field of view, and a 50MP Sony LYT600 periscope sensor with 3x optical zoom. The 32MP selfie camera on the front is a holdover from the previous edition.
The OnePlus 13 boasts a large 6000 mAh battery, an improvement over the 5400 mAh model from the previous year. There is support for both 50W wireless and 100W wired charging. The phone can be charged by cable charging from 0% to 100% in 26 minutes. The OnePlus 13 supports magnetic charging, just like iPhones do with MagSafe.
Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C 3.2 connector are among the connectivity features available. For water and dust protection, the phone is rated IP68 + IP69.
In China, the most recent OnePlus flagship uses ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. OxygenOS 15, which was shown last week, will be used by its international units. The cost and availability of the OnePlus 13
The OnePlus 13 comes in three different colors: Obsidian Black, Dew Morning Light, and Blue Moment. It is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale in China on November 1.
