Before the launch, a Mac Mini with an M4 Pro and 64GB of RAM was leaked

Apple’s “exciting week of announcements” has begun with the release of the company’s new 24-inch iMac with M4. We’ll see M4 models of the MacBook Pro and a revamped Mac mini in addition to the new iMac. It appears that we can find out the Mac Mini characteristics without waiting for an official release. The highly anticipated M4 Mac mini was leaked by Amazon before it was formally announced. Despite the removal of the product listing page, MacRumors was able to obtain several screenshots beforehand.

M4 Pro

The next Mac Mini will have M4 and M4 Pro chip options, with up to a 14-core CPU and up to a 20-core GPU, according to the comparison table on Amazon for the recently released M4 iMac. Additionally, the chart shows that the new Mac mini may be customized with up to 64GB of RAM, which is twice as much as the current models’ 32GB of unified memory. The Mac mini’s maximum storage capacity may be 8TB, similar to earlier generations.

A little image of the upcoming Mac Mini with two front-facing USB-C ports and a headphone jackโ€”possibly with Thunderbolt supportโ€”is also displayed in the chart. The backside ports are still unknown.

In a comparison chart, the Mac Mini seems noticeably smaller than the current model when placed next to the Mac Studio. Mark Gurman had previously stated that the M4 Mac mini would have a more compact form that would bring it closer to the size of the Apple TV, therefore this makeover was already rumored. Because of this, the new Mac Mini would rank among the top Macs in terms of efficiency, size, and power.

The graphic indicates that just the Silver finish of the present model will be available for the forthcoming Mac Mini. Fans of Space Black may be disappointed by this. The comparison table, which was supplied by Apple, appears to be fairly genuine.

Apple will formally unveil the new M4 Mac Mini and M4 Pro tomorrow.
